Hello Grace Family,
Doing it God's way can be hard, it's mixed with criticism and complements. I have to remember to do it for God, not for popularity.
As God is calling us into ministry we have to be bold and strong to speak what God says. As you begin to walk in your purpose remember that obedience to God is more important than pleasing people.
Don't be surprised
In one season, people are with you, the next season they are against you.
Jeremiah 1:17 states, “Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them" (NIV).
The most revolutionary statement I heard was "always have you heart ready for acceptance and rejection". This statement keeps me humbled because I must be cautious not to seek after applause from people but only seek to please God. Then, whether people stay or leave this does not stop my purpose in God from flowing.
Is there any area where you have silenced God to remain popular? Don't fall for the trap of pride and arrogance. Remember that God looks at the heart of what we do. Choose to have the heart of God in your ministry
