Hello Gracefully Reader!
Have you ever felt the need to prove yourself to people?
This may stem from some insecurity in the past about yourself that has led you to become swayed by the opinions of people.
Many times we feel the need to do this because we were labeled the shortest, the smallest, the least likely to be successful. This labeled can be magnified to the point where you now believe you have to prove yourself to anyone who has ever doubted you.
I want to show you another way where you never have to prove yourself, where you allow God to promote you. Most people look at the outside and judge based on face value.
What I found interesting is that God doesn't look at appearance, He looks at the heart.
"For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7
David was the youngest, the weakest and he wasn't even invited to the appointment of the next king. However, he was chosen by God. When God choses you he will move anything and anyone out of the way for you to step into your position.
God saw his heart and his leadership qualities that his strong brothers lacked. There is something that you posses that God knows can work in your favor for HIS glory.
No matter what you have been labeled, know today that you
don't need to prove yourself to anyone. Before you try to seek
validation from someone, remember that you are validated by God.
That's the best place to be!
I hope this has blessed you, until next time...
